Summer School Programs

Summer School is available for two sessions at both the FHS Summer School Credit Retrieval and the Pierce County Skills Center programs. Students can only take one course each session for .5 credit. If a student takes both sessions, they can earn 1.0 credits. You may enroll for one session at FHS and one session at the Pierce County Skills Center or you may choose to take both sessions at the same location. No cost to attend either program.

FHS Summer School Credit Retrieval

Students currently in grades 9-12 can take classes at Fife High School for credit retrieval. Classes will only be available for students who need to retake a credit they have previously failed. Classes will be taught in-person at Fife High School. Limited availability.

Session Dates:

    • Session 1: June 28-July 16 (No school July 5)

    • Session 2: July 19-August 5

Classes meet in-person at FHS Monday-Thursday from 8-11:30 am. Students work asynchronously on Fridays. Bus transportation available.

FHS Free to-go lunches available every day.

Pierce County Skills Center

Students currently in grades 8-12 are able to take classes for credit retrieval or initial credit through the Pierce County Skills Center on-site or online. Transportation is available through FHS. Click here to apply starting on MAY 3 at NOON. IMPORTANT: Enrollment is accepted first applications received, first enrolled.

Session Dates:

    • Session 1: June 28-July 16 (No school July 5)

    • Session 2: July 19-August 5

In Person Class Time: Classes meet Monday-Friday from 7:45 am-2:45 pm (30 minute lunch).
