Lesson Plan of the Month

Employability Skills: Responsibility

This year we’ve been focusing primarily on Employability (Soft) Skills with our lessons, as employers continuously tell us how critically underdeveloped they are in the workplace among young employees. Over the past several months, we’ve been working with local employers to develop videos that would help emphasize these skills. This month’s video on RESPONSIBILITY kicks off the series. Download the plan below to have robust discussions about what it really means to be responsible.

Download the plan here:

Employability Skills Video and Lesson Activities

We are excited to share out a lesson plan for elementary students on responsibility as well. This was prepared by our first Educator Spotlight teacher: Madeline Liggett, 5th grade teacher from Cedar View Elementary
