FINANCIAL AID
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form needs to be completed through their website. Students and parents/guardians are required to use an FSA ID, comprised of a username and password, to submit their FAFSA form online and in order to access sensitive information on US Department of Education sites. All seniors are encouraged to fill out the updated version of the FAFSA that will be available starting October 1, 2025.
Big Future is a resource through the College Board that can be used as a resource when completing the FAFSA.
SCHOLARSHIPS
The FHC Counseling Office maintains a comprehensive scholarship list in Naviance under the Colleges tab. Students are also encouraged to visit the organizations highlighted below. While scholarship researching can be time consuming, there can be rewarding returns. Do NOT pay fees to find relevant scholarships. The legitimate programs that assist you in your search are free to you.
