Training I (29–30 June) worked hands-on with satellite data: climate indicators from space with Gazmir Çela, ASIG’s National Geoportal with Enkela Begu and Iris Mahmutaj, and the mapping of pressures on Albanian lagoons with Sentinel imagery, led by Sonila Papathimiu and Adelajda Halili.
Summer School I (1–3 July) moved the discussion to policy: land-use change as the main pressure on wetlands, the reach of forest-fire pollution into Lake Ohrid, and two open debates on what satellite data can and cannot tell us. Participants who completed the programme received certificates.
