Master and PhD students from geography, biology, chemistry, environmental science, sociology, economics, law, tourism, spatial planning and related fields. The Module is also open to alumni, academic staff, early-career researchers, protected-area staff, officers in municipalities and ministries, environmental NGOs and people who live near a wetland. When places are limited, graduates and Master and PhD students come first.
No. Lectures, seminars, trainings and summer schools are free of charge, funded by the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet programme. For the field visits, participants cover their own travel.
Each activity opens with a call published about a month in advance on this website, on the websites of the Faculty of History and Philology and on the Module’s Facebook page. You register through a short Google Form. Selected applicants receive an email and are added to the Google Classroom of that activity.
In 2026 the lecture cycle, Training I and Summer School I ran online on Google Meet. Trainings and summer schools are planned in hybrid mode whenever possible, while the field visits to Karavasta, Prespa and Butrint take place on site.
Everyone who completes an activity receives a certificate. Teaching is in Albanian; EU legislation, reports and part of the reading material are in English. Lecture slides, manuals and readings stay available in Google Classroom for at least five years after the project ends.
