We are excited to share that 16 high school Seniors have completed their 40-hour CDL Permit training over Spring Break (March 23rd - 27th) instructed by Elite Truck School, at the Washington Service Center in Hillsboro. Throughout the week, participants engaged in career connected learning experiences from some of our partners, including TriMet and FedEx Freight.
The next step of the program is the full 120 hour Class A “Range and Road” training at Elite Trucking in Hillsboro in July.

I've been the College & Career Specialist at FGHS since 2016 and added the Aspire Site Coordinator position 2020. The best part is spending time with the students and getting to know their goals and aspirations. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and of course my dogs Toby & Ozzy. I also enjoy hiking and photography. Go Viks!!
