Lake/Central Orlando Federation Festival - CHECKLIST

1.  Sign up for our email distribution list:  Carin LeRoy

2.  Purchase the current National Federation Music Clubs Bulletin:  nfmc-music.org

3.  Double-check bulletin updates:  https://tinyurl.com/Bulletin-pdf 

4.  Decide on the events for your students.   See NFMC Festivals Brochure click here.

5.  Purchase TWO copies - Hymn / Patriotic / Popular Piano (Performer and judge will each need copy)

6.  Be sure the following Events match the conditions (REFER TO YOUR BULLETIN.)

a. Concerto and Solo correlation 

b. Sightplay equals Solo level (Sightplay must be entered with a Solo Event)

c. Ensembles partner levels must qualify.

7.  Read and follow the Rules set to choose the piece(s) for each Event.

8.  Complete VIVACE registration by deadline 11:59 pm December 1st:  click here

9.  Specially Capable Musician (SCM) form - due January 5

     NFMC has a helpful protocol in place for entrants who may require special accommodations during their Festival evaluations.
      Please use this form, JR 3-13, and return no later than January 10, as it needs to be approved at the state and national level.

9.  Download your Student History Report.   Confirm the consecutive superiors and point totals.

10.  After festival, Fred Moore will be in touch with you regarding cups.

1. Students earning a Superior Rating at the District Festival are qualified to compete.

2. Students perform only the “Required” piece. - MEMORIZATION

3. Entrance fees and application is at the State level
