Hello! What an exciting week we had last week! Hopefully the kids enjoyed the homecoming activities, were able to make some memories, and felt the school spirit all around us!Ā
Here's what's happening during Week 7 (Sept. 29th-Oct. 3rd):

Monday, September 29th - š4th/5th/6th GBB vs. Minnewaukan @ Fessenden - 4:30 PM
Tuesday, September 30th - š4th/5th/6th GBB @ Maddock - 4:30 PM
Tuesday, September 30th - šLittle Stingers FB vs. Rugby @ Harvey - 5:30 PM
Wednesday, October 1st and Thursday, October 2nd - š Parent-Teacher Conferences (3:30-6:30 PM) Information:Ā You will receive an instant-alert message telling you which teacher(s) you should sign up with and how to do that. Please sign up early to try to get a time and date that will work for you. If you are unable to get a time that will work, please contact me on Remind and we will see what we can do to accommodate your schedule. We look forward to visiting about your child's progress!
Thursday, October 2nd - šLittle Stingers FB vs. Valley City @ Carrington - 5:30 PM (5th/6th ONLY)
In our classroom this week...
Math 7: Ratios and Proportions/Markups and Discounts. We'll discuss some real-life situations where these concepts are used!Ā
Math 6: We'll wrap up Module 2 and begin Module 3, which is covering Division of Fractions and Mixed Numbers.,
Math 5: We'll do more practice of division by multi-digit numbers, we'll discuss interpretation of remainders, and how to use partial quotients.Ā
Social Studies 5/6: Our first Social Studies Project (that the students get to build) will take place this week! Stay tuned!
Science 5/6: It'll be hard to top the homemade ice cream we made last week, but we'll get into Changes of State and wrap up Topic 1 at the end of the week.Ā
