Hello! I hope you had a great weekend! I just want to tell you thank you again for the food, drinks, and supplies you gave for each of our holiday parties this year! The kids had a great time at all of them. Your support is very much appreciated!

Here's what's happening during Week 25 (February 16th-20th):

• Monday, February 16th- Chess Practice  ♟️(6:30 PM)

• Tuesday, February 17th - Archery Practice (3:30 PM)

• Wednesday, February 18th - Prairie Waters Presentation (Elementary)

• Thursday, February 19th - Chess Practice  ♟️ (3:30 PM - unless otherwise indicated by Ms. Hawkes' schedule) and Archery Practice (3:30 PM)

• Thursday, February 19th - 31:8 Presentation - 6th Grade (information to follow)

• Friday, February 20th  - No School 

Looking ahead...

• Monday, March 2nd  - Growing Up Talk - 5th Grade (Information/Opt Out form went home on Feb. 13th. It only needs to be signed/returned if you do not want your student to participate. Please contact me if you have any questions!)

In our classroom this week...

• Math 7: We're into Module 7, covering Linear Expressions  and Rational Coefficients!

• Math 6: We're starting Module 7, which is covering Percents. 

• Math 5:  We're continuing to move forward in Module 10, which is about Division of Fractions and Finding the Number and Size of Equal Sized Parts. 

• Social Studies 5/6:  We'll be learning about Ancient China, The Great Wall of China, and The Forbidden City. 

• Science 5/6: We're into Topic 5: Waves and Electromagnetic Radiation. 

• Character Education 5/6: We're on Week 3 of Empathy.
