Welcome to our Survey of Studio Art Class Virtual Art Show.
Due to our global pandemic, we share this website with you to showcase our Fenwick students' creativity.
The Survey of Studio Art course is designed to explore the visual arts. Students have experienced working in various media through studio projects, oral critiques, and art history. Areas of concentration included, but are not limited to drawing (pencil, conté crayon, and charcoal), digital photography, painting (acrylic and watercolor), wire sculpture, printmaking, and ceramics (Slab or Coil). Students learned new techniques and developed a visual and structural understanding of both 2-D and 3-D media with an emphasis on observation and effective utilization of materials, processes and concepts relating to both the elements of art and principles of design.
We would like to thank all of our student artists and their families for their drive and committment to make great art during these trying times. We appreciate all of your hard work in the classroom and at home; our Friar artists have created spectacular artwork.
