The 2D Studio Art Classes Levels I-IV are designed for highly motivated students interested in exploring and developing their two-Dimensional art skills. Students will work in their preferred medium(s) and will be required to complete a personal portfolio of work by the end of the semester. There will be group and individual critiques during the making of and on the due date of each assignment. Students may work in the following media: drawing (pencil, conté crayon, charcoal), painting (acrylic, watercolor), printmaking (block, screen, etching, aquatint, woodcut, lithograph), batik, multi-media or photography.
A bi-weekly sketchbook will be kept as a record of a student’s creative thought process and technical development
