Introduction
Technology continues to increase its presence and influence in many aspects of our lives, especially so in how we teach and learn. In education, we can categorise the benefits of technology into tools and resources:
Tools that enable us to administrate, teach and learn more effectively and efficiently. This category includes improved access to tools that we can employ to manage our time, to communicate and share work and ideas, and to access information when we need it.Â
Resources that allow us to add to how teach and learn in our classrooms, such as online quizzing and assessments, modelling tools (e.g., GeoGebra), interactive virtual manipulatives (e.g., ThinkingBlocks), and selected videos from YouTube. This includes resources on how we can keep ourselves safe online.
The intent of this site is to share information that will help us use the tools, and to share ideas and resources that we can use to augment our classroom lessons. If you have seen a helpful video, found a useful tool or discovered a resource, please share by completing the short form here or filling it in below.
