A NOTE REGARDING TRANSCRIPTS

Applying to a UC or CSU:

DO NOT send a transcript unless requested by the college. This usually does not happen during the admissions process but if it does, it will be AFTER the application is due. An official transcript can be sent directly to the school by completing the transcript request form on the counseling webpage. Be sure to allow for the 24 hour processing time.

Once you have committed to a school, a FINAL transcript with proof of graduation will need to be sent. This request is made by completing the Senior Survey in which is due May 1.

Applying to a private or out of state school that uses the Common Application/SendEDU:

Your counselor will upload your official transcript directly. You DO NOT need to request a transcript.

Applying to a private or out of state school that DOES NOT use the Common Application/SendEDU:

Scholarships:

SOME scholarships ask that you include a transcript with your application. An official transcript can be sent directly to the scholarship sponsor by completing the transcript request form found on the counseling webpage. Be sure to allow for the 24 hour processing time.
