Google Classroom is our main hub for students. It is where assignments will be assigned and returned. It is also from Google Classroom that we will access the other tools that we will use. This ensures a single login for students and allows the other websites to connect to Google Classroom directly. Scores on Google Classroom assignments may or may not be listed in the PowerSchool gradebook.
I was one of the first teachers at Vista to discover Pear Deck two years ago, it's a fun tool. This site allows me to embed questions, surveys, videos and links(among many other things) into my Google Slides presentations and makes them lots of fun an interactive.
Quizizz: Online quizzing site. Students will take quizzes I create, but many make their own as a study tool. Fun and interactive way for us to test our knowledge.
Edpuzzle is a nifty tool we will use on from time to time. Edpuzzle lets teacher take videos from Youtube and edit them and add questions. As we would have a viewing guide in class for videos, this serves a similar purpose.
