Who we are?

Currently, I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Biochemistry at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM).

This is Alejandro. I am an Assistant Professor at the Biochemistry Department of the School of Medicine at the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid (Spain). I am interested in understanding the positive and deleterious effects of free radicals in life but more specifically to those procceses related to human diseases.

Main interests include physical biochemistry and structural biology of electron transfer proteins and enzymes, with enphasis on metalloproteins. Expertise in multitude of biophysical and spectroscopic techniques.
