A reflection paper is your chance to explain what couldn’t be said in your project. For instance, why you chose a particular book/project, the process of completing your project, and how you felt about your project.
You will complete a reflection paper at the conclusion of each of your Independent Reading Projects and attach it to the "IRP Reflection Essay" assignment on Google Classroom.
Complete your Reflection Essay by answering the following questions in paragraph form using MLA Formatting. See example below.
Give the title and author of the book. (1 sentence)
Tell why you chose this book for your IRP. (1-2 sentences)
Tell the project you chose and explain why you chose it to go along with your book. (1-2 sentences)
Do you think you chose a good book or should you have selected a better one? Why? (2-3 sentences)
Explain the steps you took to complete this project. (2-3 sentences)
How long did it take? (1 sentence)
What did you complete your project with? (ex. Paper, a website, movie maker, etc.) (2-3 sentence)
How well do you think you did on this project? (1-2 sentences)
How well do you think you did presenting? Did you speak loudly and clearly? Did you say everything you needed to say? (2-3 sentences)
Do you feel like you put the appropriate amount of effort into the project? (1-2 sentences).
What grade do you think you should earn on this project and why? (1-2 sentences)
