Book Requirements
A chapter book of at least 150+ pages in length or a group of books that equals 150+ pages
Age Appropriate: no picture books, graphic novels, or books with inappropriate content
Must be approved by Miss Poe.

You must choose and complete a project from this website.
Write a summary of your book describing the beginning, middle, and end.
Present your project to the class.
Write a Reflection Essay that explains why you picked your book and project, explains how you created your project, and self-evaluates your project. See Reflection Guidelines.

You will be graded on your Independent Reading Project using the following rubric. Remember to utilize the checklist for your selected project to ensure that you are including all of the guidelines. Also, check your Reflection Essay with the Reflection Guidelines. This assignment is worth 25% of your ELA grade.
