Each year, Bright Futures partners with the community to make the holidays brighter for students in Frederick County and Winchester City Public Schools.
The program will launch on Wednesday, October 1st. Submissions of student families will be entered on a rolling basis starting on that date by their school counselor. All families must be submitted no later than Wednesday, November 12th.
Donors can select and sponsor students starting as early as Wednesday, October 1st. Student sponsorship will close on Friday, November 14th. Gifts can be delivered on December 5th or 8th from 10:00am-3:00pm. All gifts must be delivered no later than December 8th.

The Bright Futures Holidays Assistance Program is for students of income-eligible residents in Frederick County and Winchester City schools. Interested families are asked to contact their school counselor to determine if they qualify.
Families must agree to only request assistance from a single holiday assistance program. Additionally, families must also agree to a release of information, allowing Bright Futures to share family information with other local holiday providers to coordinate holiday assistance programming.
School counselors will require complete documentation from families no later than November 5th.
