Graduation Practices
Attendance
ALL Practices are MANDATORY in order to participate. Doctor appointments, work schedules, vacations, etc. are NOT considered an excuse for missing practice. Now is the time to rearrange your schedule!
Any student who has an exceptional reason for requesting permission to miss practice must present a written request from parent(s) no later than May 1, 2026, to Ms. Clabaugh. Permission to miss a practice will not be automatic. Do not assume that permission has been granted until you receive that permission in writing from Ms. Clabaugh.
If a student misses practice without being granted prior written permission, he/she will not be allowed to participate in the remaining practice, nor Graduation. Exceptional emergency situations may only be considered after a meeting is held including the student, parent(s), and the principal.
Guidelines
Seniors may only enter the building through the PE doors by the gym for all graduation practices.
All students MUST be in their assigned seat in the gym ready to begin practice by 8:00 AM for each of the graduation practices. Students who are tardy will be required to remain after practice for detention time.
Seniors must be present for the entire practice on May XX and May XX. Please make arrangements with employers now; NO one will be allowed to leave prior to being dismissed at the end of each practice.
Seniors may wear shorts and comfortable shoes to practices.
No family members or friends may visit seniors at practices or in the preparation areas for either the Salute to Seniors Awards Program or Graduation.
All seniors are expected to leave school grounds after the conclusion of each practice.
