Students get to Schoology by either clicking the link in the FCPS Bookmarks folder from Chrome or going to https://lms.fcps.org.

Often times there are issues with Schoology when students are logged into personal Google accounts in the chrome browser.
For users with an FCPS Chromebook
Make sure you are only logged into your FCPS student account - log out of personal accounts in chrome.
Sign Out of the chromebook
Remove your profile (click on the down arrow next to your name)
Log back in
Use the FCPS bookmarks to navigate to Schoology and other school related sites.
For users with a PERSONAL device

 FIX for Students on Personal Devices who can't access Google Docs in Schoology
Students on personally-owned laptops or Chromebooks who get an "Access Denied" error message when trying to access a Google Doc in Schoology need to do the following on their devices:
Open Chrome on the device
In the address bar, enter: chrome://flags/#same-site-by-default-cookies
Set the flag to "Disabled"
Close the tab
Reboot the device
Google Docs should now open fine in Schoology.
