FCPS Support
All of the resources available to students through FCPS require the student to login in to this resource with their FCPS username and password. (For example: Google Classroom, Schoology, Media Center Password List, etc).
The student’s username is typically the last 2 digits of their birth year + their first initial + their last name + @my.fcps.org (Example: 02TStudent@my.fcps.org). Some usernames require the middle initial due to duplicate user names in FCPS. If you do not know your student’s username and password please contact their teacher.
It is required that a student is logged into the browser they are using with their FCPS account. Here are instructions on how to do this for the Chrome browser. You can also follow the video to the right for Chrome browsers.
Chrome Browser (includes Chromebooks)
For other browsers you will just sign in when requested. Both xBox and PlayStation could be used to connect to Schoology and Google Classroom. But you would probably want to plug a keyboard into the USB port. For Google services like Google Classroom, Google Drive and Docs you can go to Google.com and click the blue sign in button in the upper right corner.
If you are getting an Access Denied error or having to Request Access to a resource you are most likely not logged in as the student.
