After you have connected your Chromebook to your personal WiFi and added your student FCPS account to the device you are ready to go. Until something goes wrong. If the device freezes or locks up give it a minute. If the problem persists restart the Chromebook. (see Chromebooks 101 to the left) If the problem persists try to the Chromebook Trouble Shooting Help offered by Google. Please never try to Wipe your Chromebook. This will render it useless for FCPS use.
Many settings can be adjusted through the Settings area of the Chromebook. Click on the clock in lower right corner and then click the Gear icon to access the Chromebook settings.
If you are still experiencing difficulty you can submit a support request. Please be aware - We will try to handle issues in a timely manner but providing distance support is as new for us as distance learning is for you.
