Fundraising
Fundraising and volunteering are a necessary part of rowing and help control seasonal dues and fees. Dues support operating expenses for the team such as bus transportation, coaching salaries, boathouse rental, general equipment maintenance, etc.
Dues do not cover the purchase of boats, oars, boat lights, cox boxes, safety equipment, travel vehicles for races, etc. These expenses are funded through fundraising events and special gifts from alumni and other donors.
On a regular basis, the crew board and coaches review equipment and facility needs while seeking out special deals on equipment.
We have many fundraising events throughout the year to help support this growing club sport. These include dine-out events, car washes, large fundraising events and food/merchandise sales. We are always looking for new fundraising opportunities!
All of us must commit time and energy to raising funds at all fundraisers.
We can only reach our goals through teamwork!

Terracycle
Register with Terracycle.com and collect household items to be recycled. After you mail in approved products for recycling, Terracycle will credit your account. You can then request to have those funds directed towards Fox Chapel Crew Inc.
