Your district is invited to participate in the statewide launch of Remake Learning Days – discoverED – and participate in a statewide design challenge!
On Tuesday, May 5, 2026, participating districts are invited to have their first-, second-, and third-grade classrooms “swap schools” for an afternoon to experience how STEAM and maker pedagogies are thriving in a classroom different from their own. Participating schools will connect virtually, and students will plan, create, and iterate their very own hoop gliders!
Some schools may be selected for additional media opportunities upon receiving district permission.
discoverED will:
Launch Remake Learning Days 2026 across Pennsylvania
Connect teachers and students virtually for meaningful connections and collaborative learning activities
Cultivate engineering concepts in elementary school students – all while having a blast!
Encourage exploration of new parts of Pennsylvania
Provide positive media opportunities for your district
