Lesson #1 - Biomimicry
Our introductory lesson takes a closer look at biomimicry. Students’ curiosity will be sparked by the many real-world examples they’ll see. They’ll also explore how scientists study the unique features of plants and animals to come up with ideas and solutions for everyday problems. The lesson includes a teacher guide to help you get ready and a slideshow to use with students. For enrichment purposes, we’ve also added links to extra activities and resources you can explore together.
Investigative Phenomenon - Humans study and copy ideas found in nature to solve problems.
