HCHS is offering shelf-stable meals in a bag for families in need due to recent job loss, furloughs, or unfunded SNAP benefits. This is a temporary program implemented in response to the current government shutdown. Supplies are limited. Meals options are:

--Chicken Teriyaki --Taco Soup

--Chicken Pot Pie

Dental Assistance--School Smiles!

The dentist is coming to our school onMay 6th! The School Smiles on-site dental program provides on-site dental care at our school for ALL students that sign up to participate. The dental team will set up inside our school and they accept Medicaid, private insurance, offer self-pay rates and grants through their foundation. This service is FREE for our students. Registration is now open online at: www.schoolsmiles.com/student-signup with over 100 languages to choose from when completing the online form.

Leadership Academy (Urban Impact)

The Leadership Academy is a violence-prevention/leadership skill building focused group that is facilitated by the Lexington Foundation Urban Impact program housed at the Woodhill Community Center. The group is facilitated by Ms. Audra Patrick.

Damas de Distinción

This group is sponsored by EKU Psychology Clinic providing social-emotional skills to young ladies that identify as Latina. Group is facilitated in Spanish.

Sister Keeper

SisterKeeper is focused on empowering, inspiring and developing the mind, body and spirit of young women into women with a purpose. The group meets as a whole group once per month. The participants also have a staff mentor which they meet with other times throughout the month individually or within their smaller mentor-mentee sessions. This group is facilitated by the YSC Coordinator and the HCHS DMHS team.
