Families can apply for a Thanksgiving Dinner Food Box through the God's Pantry Sharing Thanksgiving Program. Box includes: Turkey, butter, eggs, onions, potatoes, sides, and more.
HOW TO APPLY: This is a self-referral program. You do not need a referral from the YSC or other social service agency. The referral line for Fayette County residents is open September 2nd - 30th, Monday - Friday 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Fayette County referral line: 859-402-0050
PICKUP: Distribution dates will be November 24 & 25 at a local God's Pantry Food Bank location.

Rent/Utility/Basic Needs Assistance
--Families should call the United Way 211 help line for the most up-to-date assistance information.
--Maxwell Street Presbyterian Church Community Assistance Fund: Our office hours are: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 10:00am-3:00pm
The Office is OPEN for walk-ins at 180 East Maxwell Street and phone calls at 859-233-0723 during those hours. Please do NOT leave voicemail; please keep calling if you cannot come into office.
--Centenary Church Love Fund: On the first Monday of each month, Love Fund day, anyone can call the church office starting at 10 am (859-269-2800) and make a self-referral. Payments are made directly to landlord or utility company.
--Sleep in Heavenly Peace: At SHP we do our best to provide Twin Sized Beds to children between the ages of 3-17 Years Old that qualify. Parent/guardian can self-apply; no referral needed:
Location: You must live within a Chapter's service area.
Living Environment: You must have an accessible house or apartment with room(s) large enough to fit the bed(s).
Contact: We must be able to contact you via phone, text or email.
Necessary Documents: If your application is accepted, you’ll need to sign an Indemnification Release Form prior to delivery.
