Guitar Clubs Meet during the Wednesday afternoon club session times at VPE. 15 students in 2nd and 3rd grade participated in Guitar Club this Spring during the Spring club session. The Guitar Club performance video recording is shared here and is also posted in Google Classroom for all club members to watch. The performance recording was also emailed to each family. Mrs. Bishop and the awesome Mr. Watkins, EKU student teacher, had a BLAST working with the Guitar Club students this year! Mrs. Bishop is already looking forward to next Spring!

First Lessons: Follow the link. Start with lesson number 1 "Easy G Chord" if you need to review. Progress through each lesson- 1-17.
Next Lessons: Follow this link to the "Take a Lesson" student zone. You can scroll through to pick a song/lesson topic that looks fun to you.
Apply what you have learned: Once you have learned the concepts in the beginner/intermediate level lessons, you can go to the "Learn a song" area of the website and learn songs that interest you!
If you are a musician who is able to read music as you play, use this free, printable paper to write down your musical ideas. Mrs. Bishop would love to see your composition! Please send a photo or a scanned copy of your piece to Mrs. Bishop.
