A Trip to Pembertons
Today in Gardening class, we went down to Pembertons Greenhouses to look for plants that are able to grow underwater. Although we were unsuccessful, we still had a great time looking around at their inventory and we even got a cactus for Mr. Collins.

Diba is a Congolese immigrant visiting to share his culture's food! He and his wife made us delicious traditional Congolese food because they own a catering business called Miss Milolo's Cuisine. The food they made included Fufu, Mikate, Fumbwa, Plantain, and Chicken. The food was overall incredibly loved by the students and staff (that ate it all).

Mr. Felkers' Outdoor Educational Enhancement Class
On this lovely warm day, me (Lovlee) and my partner (Arayah) took a trip out to Mr. Felker's Outdoor Education class just to get a little feel of what goes on in this special educational enhancement class. For the most part, I'll say that the over all class itself is very calming and has a welcoming feeling. If you love nature and a peaceful feeling, this is a class to try out.
