We hope your child enjoyed their time at our summer STARTALK camp! As our goal is to continually improve the experience for our campers, we kindly ask that you take a few moments to complete a survey about your child's time at our camp. Your feedback is valuable to us. Thank you for your time and support.
Participant Survey for STARTALK
Morning campers will be provided with a prepared breakfast and afternoon campers a prepared snack.
Anticipate students will be outside at different points during camp (short recess and outside learning). Please apply sunscreen at home and dress your camper accordingly.
We will be exploring with lots of materials. We encourage you to dress your child ready to participate in engaging activities such as cooking, painting animal habitats, dancing, etc. to avoid favorite summer outfits from getting ruined.
Arrival Time: Camp begins at 8:40 am (morning camp) or 12:40 pm (afternoon camp) each day.
Arrival Options: You may park and walk your camper to the STARTALK doors or drop off your camper by circling through the TCMS staff/visitor parking lot.
Morning Arrival (8:30-8:40 am): Line up or drop off at the STARTALK doors. If parking, use the Staff/Visitor lot in front of the STARTALK doors. Do not use bus parking. If arriving late, escort your student to the STARTALK doors, knock, and wait for a faculty member to assist your camper before leaving.
Afternoon Arrival (12:30-12:40 pm): Line up or drop off at the STARTALK doors. If parking, use the Staff/Visitor lot in front of the STARTALK doors. Do not use bus parking. If arriving late, escort your camper to the STARTALK doors, knock, and wait for a faculty member to assist your camper before leaving.
Assistance with Drop-Off: If dropping off between the designated times, pull through the TCMS Staff/Visitor parking lot and a STARTALK faculty member will assist your child out of the car. Please ask your camper to wait until assistance is provided.
Remember, these procedures ensure a smooth and safe arrival process for campers and help maintain a positive camp experience for everyone.
Dismissal Time: Morning camp dismissal is at 12:00 pm, and afternoon camp dismissal is at 4:00 pm each day.
Park and Walk-Up: For dismissal, you must park and walk-up to the STARTALK doors with your dismissal card to receive your camper.
Dismissal Process: Dismissal begins promptly at the designated time and is expected to take approximately five minutes. Please be prompt to allow our faculty to have their lunch break before the arrival of the next camp session. There are no after-camp care arrangements available.
Line-Up at STARTALK Doors: At the STARTALK doors, line up behind your camper's cone color (red or blue) with your dismissal card in hand. If you have multiple campers, line up behind the cone of the youngest child and have both dismissal cards ready.
Campers Dismissal: At the designated dismissal time (12:00 pm or 4:00 pm), campers will be dismissed to your care.
Remember to follow these procedures to ensure a smooth and efficient dismissal process and to pick up your camper on time.
