Thursday, Friday, Saturday- April 11th-13th- All County Honor Band, for those Middle School students accepted by audition. Concert is Saturday, 11:00 a.m. at Bryan Station H.S.
Monday, April 22nd- 8th grade band showcase rehearsal, after school, room 113, 3:45-5:30 p.m.
Wednesday, April 24th- After school band rehearsal, room 113- 3:45-5:30 p.m.
Thursday, Friday, April 25th & 26th- EIGHTH GRADERS ONLY-Eighth Grade Showcase rehearsal and performance.
Wednesday, May 1st - Middle School Band Majors Solo Recital, at SCAPA, multipurpose room, 6:30 p.m., students report at 6:00 p.m. Reception following performance.
Thursday, May 2nd-Acclaim Music Festival at Malabu Jacks in Lexington, Ky. Students leave SCAPA at 11:45 a.m., parents pick up from Malabu Jacks, 4:00 p.m. Students will perform for a judging panel, and enjoy a meal and games.
Friday, May 10th – Middle School Band rehearsal, after school, room 113, 3:45-5:30 p.m.
Saturday, May 11th- Kings Island Music in the Parks-All day; depart from SCAPA @ 7:30 a.m. and return 11:30 p.m.
Friday, May 17th - MIDDLE SCHOOL BAND CONCERT, at Beeler auditorium, LHS, 6:30 p.m. Students report 6:00 p.m. Reception following performance.

2023-2024 SCAPA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL BAND CALENDAR
Wednesday, May 1st - Elementary Band Majors Recital -1:00 p.m., Helm Hall. (Students should be selecting a solo with their private teacher and begin working on it).
Monday, May 6th - ELEMENTARY BAND & STRING SPRING CONCERT-
6:30 p.m., report time 6:00 p.m. SCAPA Multipurpose room.
All concert performances are mandatory and a part of the student’s grade. Concert dress is white top, black pants or skirt, dark shoes and socks, black hose or tights if the student is wearing a skirt.
Students should have eaten a meal before the concert. When students arrive for their evening concert, fourth grade band students will leave cases lined up in the hallway, then take instruments and music to the multipurpose room. Fourth grade band students will only play in the multipurpose when warming up or tuning with the director. Fifth grade band students will leave cases in the band room and remain there to warm-up and tune. There will not be any playing in the hallways. Students must be in assigned locations, not wandering the halls. Coats and jackets will remain with parents, or be left with cases. At the beginning of the concert fifth grade band students will sit in chairs placed underneath the basketball goal, and will move into the concert setting when directed.
Audience behavior is extremely important. Students may not talk during the concert. Students may not touch any other person’s instrument. Students receive a grade for the concert performance. Students are expected to demonstrate proper etiquette as a performer and as an audience.
