Marketing EDUCATION CO-OP

**APPLICATIONS for Advanced Academic Internships (EBCE), Community Service, and Marketing Education CO-OP should be completed by February 2nd by 3:15 PM. ** 

Information about Marketing CO-OP for 2024-2025 School Year

 What is Marketing Education Co-Op?   This senior only course permits a student to work in a paid marketing/retailing position while earning credit as well. The student will need to work for a minimum of 15 hours per week.  The work is supervised by a coordinating teacher. 

Who can apply for the program? This course is only eligible to students that have already taken the required courses in a Business and Marketing Pathway. They should have completed or be enrolled within their 4th pathway course in this area and employed in a related field. They can enroll in more than one Business and Marketing course during their senior year to be eligible for this program.

What are some of the benefits?  Essentially, you have the chance to work and develop skills to prepare you for the future. You will develop skills, make connections, and gain experiences that will help your resume to stand out from peers. 

What does Mr. O’Bryan look at?  Application (Previous courses taken, Behavior, Grades, Teacher recommendations, Transportation, and Attendance)

Where do students work at? Small businesses, restaurants, retail stores, etc.

What is the deadline?   Friday, February 2nd at 3:15PM.

Other note: Students must have their own transportation. Students with prior discipline records and frequent absences will be given less consideration than those without these issues.
