Leestown's pre-academy model offers several areas of interest that students may focus on as they think about high school program applications. If your student is a 6th grader, it may seem like high school is a long way off, but the middle school years will go by quickly!

The transition from 6th grade to 7th grade is a good time for them to begin thinking about their areas of interest so they can be sure to take the appropriate electives or join the appropriate clubs at Leestown. 8th graders will apply in the fall of their 8th grade year for high school programs of interest. Listed below are the FCPS special programs that your student may be interested in.
