Parents of 7th & 8th Grade Students!
Fayette Co. Public Schools offers a wide variety of specialized academic programs to students. When a student enters 7th grade, it is a good time to begin considering their interest in a special program and deciding to which program(s) they would like to apply. Students should begin thinking about areas of interest so they can be sure to take the appropriate electives or join the appropriate clubs while at Leestown Middle School. Students can apply for high school special programs early in their 8th grade year, while programs such as Southside Technical Center (8th grade) and Leestown's Pre-engineering Program (6th-8th grades) are open to middle school students.
