Hello, My name is Victoria Mason and I am the School Social Worker at Henry Clay High School. My role is to provide services to reduce barriers to student learning and provide services to students to enhance their emotional well-being and improve their academic performance. These services include individual counseling, crisis management services, including assessing for safety; assessing students for substance use, support systems, physical and emotional functioning, barriers to academic performance, peer issues, suicidal/homicidal ideation, and advocating for student services and students’ best interests.

Hello. My name is Shevan Threats, LCSW, and I am the District Mental Health Specialist at Henry Clay High School. My role is to  support the social and emotional needs of students. I can provide telehealth, address areas such as coping skills, parenting skills, stress management, and clarify questions about mental health. I can also help schedule outpatient therapy if necessary. To help maintain confidentiality, make sure no one is present who you would not want to hear the conversation. Confidentiality is waived if abuse or neglect are suspected or if someone has thoughts of hurting themselves or others.

Hello. My name is Shakira Goldsmith-Mason, Certified School Psychologist. I serve as a part-time District Mental Health Specialist at Henry Clay High School and part-time at another FCPS High School.  In addition to providing general social/emotional support, I work with students to improve coping skills, social skills, stress/anxiety management, etc.
