Competitions

• Ensure all students have opportunities to play and participate.

• Keep club fun, safe, and inclusive. Do not tolerate or encourage smack talk.

• Watch students' games and help them to develop strategies to improve their game play. 

• If any students do not wish to play competitively, that is ok! However, you will have to form your competitive teams for our district-wide competitions. 

To better prepare our students for Middle and High School competitions, coaches will be required to follow "Match" Rules: 

• Coaching during game play will not be permitted. Coaches may have TWO 30 second timeouts in between games per match.

• Coaches are seated/standing in the viewing area. They are not allowed to be right by their team. 

• Respectfully cheer on your team and maintain a model of sportsmanship and integrity. 

• If an issue arises, the coach and ONLY the coach, needs to make it be known at the start of a round.
