It takes about 45 minutes to complete the application and ICA documents. Please have your laptop and wifi ready to complete the FULL application in one sitting.

Things to Prepare:

2. Review EXP Independent Contractor Agreement - You will sign this as part of the application process

3. Email address to get started:

   1. Decide on an email address you want to use to sign up. Please don’t use your old brokerage email address!

4. License numbers and name on your license 

   1. DBA, "Doing Business As” Name: Under Step 1 (Personal Information), the name MUST match the name on your license. But under “Preferred First Name (Optional)” you can add your DBA, "Doing Business As” Name. This is the name you plan to market yourself under. Unless you wish to use your full legal name on all of your marketing materials, fill out the DBA field.

7. Sponsor's name.  *Please note this can not be changed. 

   1. GET SPONSOR INFO FIRST – Contact your sponsor and get their full name, eXp email, and Agent ID BEFORE starting your application

      1. For Dan Fass, please use Daniel Fass, EXP agent ID: 261173,  Email: Daniel.Fass@eXpRealty.com, 

      2. For Megan Fass, please use EXP agent ID: 110046 and Email address: megan.fass@exprealty.com

      3. If your sponsor's name won't populate as an option, you will have to manually type in his/her name. Please see slide 13, Tip Nr.2 on how to do that.

13. Mentor Program (Real Estate Experience | Step 4):

    1. If you have done fewer than 3 transactions in the last 12 months, you are required to participate in the Mentor Program. Please select yes and select a Mentor in your area

14. Under Real Estate Experience Information (Step 4 of 6), please select:

    1. “Individual” under the question: “Will you be selling real estate with eXp as an individual agent or part of a team? 

15. Financial Information (Step 5) Banking Information:

    1. The first time you fill it out “Direct deposit” will be for the direct deposit of your commission and revenue share you earn

    2. Next, you will need to add your bank routing and account number AND your Credit card information. Next, select the default payment method; this is how eXp will collect your monthly fee.

       1. The start-up fee of $149 includes the first month's charge of $85, and on whatever day you are being activated with eXp, it will be the day you get billed monthly.

16. Financial Information (Step 5): W9

    3. If you want to be paid under a business (LLC), make sure you know your tax identification number (TIN / EIN)

       1. You will need to submit proof of ownership.

       2. If you get an “invalid’ pop-up message, that means the system can not verify that the information listed is correct. 

          1. DOUBLE CHECK YOUR INFORMATION, and if it’s correct, click the “Use Original Details” button to move forward

    4. You will need to sign ALL required documents to complete the application
