The factory where the Barnbow lasses worked was named The Barnbow factory. The Barnbow factory is located in Yorkshire, Leeds. All the women were peers in work and they were often called Canaries because of poor working conditions. The factories were a key place of work in the First World War because bombs were needed for this crazy event and women stepped forward and did those jobs for men.
