Farr High School prides itself on being more than just a high school, it is a hub that is part of the wider community of Bettyhill and the North Coast. Students benefit from engaging in community projects ranging from outdoor learning and helping with community clear ups, to volunteering with coffee mornings and growing vegetables for community use.
Our students raise money for charity and hosted coffee mornings for the local community.
We are committed to raising money for our school and community, see in our 12 hour ceilidh!
We are proud to help the local Feis group as the venue for the annual Mod.
Each summer the football pitch is transformed by the Gala Committee.
Students are invited to visit our local windfarms and learn about renewable energies.
Our S3s work alongside local charities, competing for the £3000 community grant from YPI.
