Team Tennis 

The Sixth Form College Farnborough has a strong competitive tennis programme for women and men.  The college regularly finishes in the knockout stages of the winter LTA Senior Students competition and summer LTA National Championships.  In 2025, the college boys team finished second in the SE region in the winter competition.  We also had 2 boys qualify for the 2025 AoC National Finals at the University of Nottingham.  We have been able to enter 2 boys teams and 1 girls team in 2024-25 competitive cycle.

Students benefit from expert coaching from LTA performance coaches as part of the Wednesday afternoon Performance Squad.  The squad can accommodate 16 people and we benefit from using the LTA and ITF approved tennis facilities at Aldershot Tennis Centre.  We are able to use indoor and outdoor facilities throughout the year.

Sessions are provided at cost and take place from September until July (1:00pm-3:30pm).  Transport to all training sessions and matches on a Wednesday is provided by the college.

The tennis programme is for regular club-standard and performance players who compete regularly.
