The Media Show

BBC radio 4's Media Show is a recommended listen. The programme looks at topical issues in the media that week with guests bringing their expertise to the discussion. Find previous episodes here.

A wide range of Media

The A Level Media course will introduce you to a wide range of subject matter across different industries, genre and audiences.

It will also require discussion of a range of social and cultural issues such as gender identity, feminism, politics, ethnicity, nationality, the need for regulation, consumerism etc.

A successful media student is interested in consuming a wide range of media and the opportunity to analyse and apply theory to build detailed and complex discussions.
