We have an excellent collection of pedagogy resources available for you to browse and borrow from the Library. You can also view these in Accessit via the 'Teaching and Pedagogy' Quicklist where you can also reserve and review items.

What online resources and subscriptions are available?

We look after an array of subscriptions that anyone within the college can access and use for their classes. These include:


  • Audiopi - Downloadable audio tutorials/podcasts

  • BOB - choose, view and record any broadcast programme

  • Digimap - Access to maps online

  • Elawstudent - A level Law material

  • Emagazine - English subjects magazine

  • JSTOR - Access to journals

  • MASSOLIT - Short video lectures

  • Media Magazine - Media and Film Studies magazine

How do staff and students access eBooks?

The LRC Team administrates eBooks and issues accounts to staff and students. Multiple departments in the college use eBooks in their teaching via the following platforms:

  • BOOST (Hodder)

  • Dynamic Learning (Hodder)

  • ActiveLearn (Pearson)

  • Kerboodle (Oxford University Press)
