Course Description:
This class meets all year every day
Materials required: Bring with you daily; Pen and Pencil, Chromebook
Lab Fee: $20 (this covers lab consumables and a engineering notebook that you will keep)
Prerequisite: 10th-12th Grade
The POE course exposes students to problems that engage and challenge them to explore a broad range of engineering topics, including mechanisms, the strength of materials and structures, robotics, and kinematics. POE allows students to further research, and design using engineering practices previously established in the IED course.
This is a great course for students who are in their 2nd or 3rd year of engineering as well as those who enjoy robotics. This course will begin transitioning to the new VEX V5 Robotics equipment and software within the coming year.
