K-8 Lights, Camera, Literacy: Pajama Movie Night & Parent Workshop
February 4, 2025
📸 HIGHLIGHTS FROM LIGHTS, CAMERA, LITERACY 🍿
Join us for – an evening of fun, learning, and family connection! Students are invited to come dressed in their favorite pajamas, bring a towel or pillow if they'd like, snuggle up, and enjoy a special movie night. We'll screen Out of My Mind for students in grades 4-8 and Charlotte's Web for students in grades K-3. Enjoy hot cocoa, cookies, and popcorn as you watch the films with friends.
While students enjoy their movies, parents will attend a series of interactive workshops at Parent University focused on supporting literacy at home. Parents will leave with practical strategies and tools to help their children grow as readers.
At the end of the night, each child will receive a book to read at home with their parent that ties into the movie they watched, extending the learning and fun beyond the event. It's an evening of entertainment, education, and family bonding that you won't want to miss!
The movies starts at 6:15 pm sharp!
