Middle School 

Middle School Grades will learn a variety of topics associated with learning an appreciation for music. We will focus on listening skills as well as music reading and theory comprehension and application.  The 6th-8th grades will also focus on music history and learn the different genres of music that helped create current, popular music. We are also going to explore creating music electronically.

6th Grade students will focus on bucket drumming and will be given the opportunity to join the new school band. Students must rent/purchase their own instruments and lessons will be given during the school day on a rotating basis so that one class will not be consistently missed.
