5th Grade

5th Grade Music Class will focus on an appreciation of World Music and continue our progress on the recorder to promote our knowledge of music reading. My goal is to instill a love and appreciation of music that will encourage students to listen to different genres.

5th Grade students will also have the opportunity to join our new school band! Students must rent/purchase their own instrument and lessons will be given on a rotating basis during the school day. If possible, we will have one afternoon group band session once we gain enough playing knowledge. Information about instrument rentals will be given out on Back to School Night.
