FHS Counseling

The Faribault High School Counseling Department will be providing remote school counseling during the time of Distance Learning. School Counselors will be online during the school day from: 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. to respond to questions and provide remote counseling through email/Schoology, phone communication, and Google Hang-Out. Counselors will also be able to meet with students outside of these hours if prior arrangements are made. It is very important for students to check Schoology and school email messages daily, as these will be the primary platforms for general and individual information. Students will also need to access their school email account in order to receive invitations and links to join a Google Hang-Out counseling meeting. You may reach your counselor through Schoology or you may email them. Students and families may also reach out to Amy Severson, our department secretary, to set up a meeting at 507-333-6200 or aseverson@faribault.k12.mn.us. Counselors or Mrs. Severson will coordinate a meeting through your preferred method of communication.
