Beginning on March 30th, 2020, Distance Learning Plans will go into effect. Students will be learning asynchronously online. In order to track students' attendance, we will utilize a variety of tools.
All students will be enrolled in a Schoology attendance course. Each day students will be expected to sign into this course. Administration will run a report at the end of each day and determine which students have signed into Schoology.
Teachers will track students attendance through the following methods
Completed assignment (checking weekly)
Attendance in virtual meetings or office hours
Communication through phone/schoology/email
If a teacher finds that a student is absent in any of the capacities mentioned above, it is their responsibility to send their name to a counselor, social worker or administration so that a phone call can be made home.
Please leave a message when you call a district phone number. Voice-messages are sent directly to staff email, where they can respond to you via phone, email, or schoology.
