If you are interested in volunteering, you undoubtedly believe in the power of speech and debate. By volunteering to judge, you have allowed several students to compete. For many tournaments, judges are the limiting factor. On behalf of those students and that tournament, thank you for providing the opportunity for speech and debate!

Must complete the NDHSAA Judge Cerfication test for each season every year
Must make a tabroom account for submitting online ballots preferred ** DEBATE ONLY
Have constructive feedback for students to improvement on the ballot
Must be 18 years or old to judge rounds
We do offer payment for judging, you can also opt to voluteer
Connect with coaching staff if you need to cancel, so we can notify the tournament host
Remember the students see you as an teacher so lead by positive example
Mock Congress for students to debate current events in our state/national government
(September-November)
Debating monthly topics on society or current public welfare solo or two-person team
(November-February)
Public Speaking Competiton with 14 different events from dramatic, humorous, serious or duo team acting out scripts or personal speeches (February-April)
Coaches will set up zoom links for online sessions or in-person meetings
Rules and Regulations for each season will be under the activity section of the website
