Forensics at FNH (Congress, Debate, and Speech) aims to challenge all students to express their ideas and creativity through public speaking. The activity empowers students and teaches them respect for others, self-discipline, and cooperation with peers of varied backgrounds sharpens their writing skills and reading comprehension while encouraging civic participation. These skills not only improve a student’s ability to handle controversial topics in a convincing and respectful way but are necessary for success in any student’s academic and professional life.
Our Forensics club provides opportunities for students to compete in speech and debate competitions within the F-M area, connecting, supporting, and inspiring a diverse community while creating a platform for students to be heard, celebrated, and encouraged to embrace their true identities. We are continuously transforming our organization to reflect and engage the values of equity, integrity, respect, leadership, and service.
