1. Prepare ClassLink QuickCards for your class (10 minutes)
Run QuickCards from your ClassLink Dashboard-two copies would be useful
Cut cards apart and decide how to have students store them (attach to bag tag, velcro to device, send a second copy home to stay for access to student resources at home)

2. Print copy of student passwords for yourself and the library from PowerSchool
3. Start Seesaw Class (25 minutes)
Bookmark your new class if you wish
Connect Families by sending home the Family QR code sheet
Send a welcome/introduction message to your families
Change your class name if you wish
Share Parent 1:1 Device Important Information -send via Seesaw or paper as you prefer IF DEVICES GO HOME
Schedule your RUP lesson for after devices are handed out during your first library rotation
Find a spot in your room to hang RUP reminders
Find a spot in your room to hang Troubleshooting posters, iPad Poster, Chromebook Poster
Review Teacher Need to Knows as you are ready to hand out devices
After getting devices, add each student to your Apple Classroom
This allows you to open websites, close and lock devices, lock in one app for students to use and see what they are working on from your teaching space during small groups.
Specialist Start Seesaw Class (35 minutes)
Bookmark your new class if you wish
Send a welcome/introduction message to your families
Change class names to reflect section. Please leave your content as the first word and include your last name.

You may want to print a copy to support students who don't bring theirs to your class, particularily K-2
