1. Prepare ClassLink QuickCards for your class (10 minutes)

• NOTE: These QuickCards will be how students log into their devices and apps - they will NOT use passwords

• Run QuickCards from your ClassLink Dashboard-three copies would be useful (one for students at school, one for student to access resources at home, one for teacher backup)

• Cut cards apart and decide how to have students store them 

• Directions for students -Using with both iPads and Chromebooks

2. Start Seesaw Class  (25 minutes)

• Bookmark your new class if you wish

• Connect Families by sending home the Family QR code sheet

• Send a welcome/introduction message to your families 

• Change your class name if you wish

Schedule your RUP lesson for during the first rotation (20 minutes)

Find a spot in your room to hang RUP reminders 

Find a spot in your room to hang Troubleshooting posters, iPad Poster, Chromebook Poster

Review Teacher Need to Knows as you are ready to hand out devices

Apple Classroom for K-2

• After getting devices, add each student to your Apple Classroom

• This allows you to open websites, close and lock devices,  lock in one app for students to use and see what they are working on from your teaching space during small groups.

Specialist Start Seesaw Class  (35 minutes)

• Bookmark your new class if you wish

• Send a welcome/introduction message to your families 

• Change class names to reflect section. Please leave your content as the first word and include your last name.

Prepare ClassLink QuickCards for your class (20 minutes)

• Student QR codes will be the same as the code in the Classroom

• You may want to print a copy to support students who don't bring theirs to your class, particularily K-2

• Change Class names to reflect section if you wish

Review Parent 1:1 Device Important Information

Find a spot in your room to hang Troubleshooting posters, iPad Poster, Chromebook Poster

Review Teacher Need to Knows as you are ready to use devices
